Dear Family, Friends and Donors,
It is with the utmost appreciation and gratitude that we reach out to thank you for your generosity, abundant support and continued participation in The Kevin Bonilla Tribute Run/Walk! Most importantly we want to thank you for your love and kindness. Our Fourth Annual Run/Walk on September 6, 2025, was a huge success because of your contributions. Together we raised over $40,000 in funding for Girls on the Run NYC, a nonprofit organization designed to enhance participants' social, emotional and physical skills to successfully navigate life experiences. We chose Girls on the Run NYC because of its meaningful mission to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running. What a beautiful way to amplify our Kevin's legacy by empowering the next generation! This year's event took place on our Kevs 35th Birthday where he was surrounded by so much love...
As a family, our loss is incomprehensible. Our grief is everlasting. Because of our immeasurable love for Kevs and the deepest connection we have to one another, our family needs to celebrate the amazingness of Kevin and carry on his fabulous life and legacy. Our Kevs is leading the way, torch lit, held high and inspiring us to do the same. So to continue to celebrate our loving, joyful son, Richie and Katie's brother and best friend, Cameron's Uncle, and to honor his ever-famous storytelling, we must always tell his stories! We must Live Like Kevin, who always had an unforgettable, beaming, gigantic and infectious smile! Our Kevs who was always living in-the-moment, wholehearted, kind, funny and passionate! Our Kevs, who gave the most loving hugs of all time, showed up for everyone and made you feel like you are the only person in the room! Our Kevs who danced and sang to his heart's content, laughed from the bottom of his gut and lived and loved robustly! Kevs lives on in us and we live on through him...
Reflecting upon and carrying on Kevin's compassionate nature and desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others, is at the heart of our mission for The Kevin Bonilla Tribute Run/Walk Foundation. Kevin loved bringing people together, a genuine 'Kev-Fest!" He continues to bring so many people together and always will as we celebrate our Kevs Forevs...
